Every few months, I like to feature a face model, who generously donates photos, which I have and will base paintings on. In saying thank you, I like to give an 11x14 painting back to the model to show my appreciation (for free). I typically wait until I have two or three works completed before a model is featured, so these features are on an occasional basis (good paintings take a long time). You don't have to be perfect to be a face/body model,
and besides I can change whatever you want changed: hey, it's art.

The Artistry of Marc Eliuk, is featuring a Body Model:
Monique
Monique is a Canadian who is as stunning on canvas as she is in real life, she has graciously agreed to be a body model for numerous body portraits. I did ask to paint her facial beauty on canvas but she would rather be a body model for this feature (she is incredibly gorgeous and I hope to eventually paint a face portrait of her with her permission). The photos I chose are some of the more "conservative" from the photos she submitted (have mercy!). I believe in portraying the beauty of the female form in an artistic fashion that is both empowering to women and also stunningly beautiful. Monique has indeed fit that perfectly and will be a permanent model to the artistry in future projects, especially those with a creative twist.
